Removing the iconik Panel.

Using Adobe Creative Cloud

If you have installed using Adobe Creative Cloud you can manage which extensions you have installed from the Creative Cloud website.

  1. Got to the https://exchange.adobe.com/creativecloud.html website
  2. Log in to Adobe with your account
  3. Go to "My Exchange"
  4. You should be able to see iconik, and remove from the list
  5. Adobe will remove the panel automatically - though it might take some time to do this.

Using Anastasiy’s Extension Manager

These instructions use the third-party program Anastasiy’s Extension Manager which we often test with, some customers have also:

  1. Close your Adobe Applications
  2. Download Anastasiy’s Extension Manager from https://install.anastasiy.com
  3. Follow the instructions to install the Extension Manager.
  4. Drag the downloaded iconikPanel-latest.zxp in to Anastasiy’s Extension Manager and wait for it to install
  5. Locate the iconik Adobe Panel in the list, and select Remove.
  6. Restart your Adobe Application.

Please note, that if you have it installed using Adobe Creative Cloud it might get downloaded and installed again

Manually

You can manually remove the files that run the panel if you have Administrative rights to your computer. They panel files are installed under in these two places depending on your operating system:

  • macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions
  • Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\

To remove:

  1. Close your Adobe Applications
  2. Navigate to the folder above for your operating system.
  3. Remove the directory/folder and it contents that has iconik in the name. There should be only one.
  4. Restart your Adobe Applications.
