These are the roles that are needed:

  • Asset
  • Search

Sorting Search Results

Searches are brought back in a default order, which is usually the Date Created. You can change the order in which the results are displayed in iconik by using the Sort By functionality. You can also add multiple sort orders at once.

Search Settings

What is available to sort on is based on the Display Columns that are configured either by an Administrator or by your personal Search Settings. If there is no additional configuration you will be the default columns iconik provides.

Changing the sort order.

  1. Goto the Search page.
  2. In the top left click on the Sort by dropdown.
  3. Choose the field that you would like additional sorting on.

Adding additional Sort by parameters

To do this you need to change the Display Columns for your Search Settings and add additional fields.

Return to the search page and Change the sort order as detailed in Changing the sort order.

Removing Sort order.

  1. Goto the Search page.
  2. At the top left next to the Sort by dropdown will be the sort orders.
  3. Hover over the Sort order that you want to remove by clicking on the X shown to the left.

Changing the sort order direction.

  1. Goto the Search page.
  2. At the top left next to the Sort by dropdown and find the Sort order parameter.
  3. Click on the Text or the arrows to choose the direction.
