Users
Can I share my account with other users?
We strongly advise against doing this, as it breaks the license agreement. But for practical reasons we audit everything a user account does so that iconik can have a complete log of who did what. Common use cases for this audit are:
- Auditing who deletes assets and files
- Who performed changes metadata
- Abuse to the system.
In addition to this many of the features of iconik are better with individual user accounts, for example: Comments, Review and Approve, Sharing and Asset History
Who can see my user account?
Only other users that are in the same iconik account as you.
Can you restore my original password?
No, it's impossible for us to do that as it's stored in way that we can never retrieve it.
Can anyone else see my password?
No, the password is stored in a way that makes it impossible for anyone to read your password.
I have forgotten the email address I signed up with?
Typically iconik users will be signed up with their company email addresses.
Why don't I have access to certain features in iconik
There are two main reasons:
- Your user type does not allow you to have access those features.
- You don't belong to a User Group that have the role necessary to perform that task.
