Using your own Keyframe and Proxy Storage.

You can setup your own Keyframe and/or Proxy cloud Storage for use with iconik. There is an additional monthly price for doing so as explained in our FAQ.

If you want to do this you should ideally choose a storage bucket which is:

  • Highly available - such as a multi-region bucket.
  • High speed.
  • Has the ability to set up the necessary CORS and signed-URLS

We strongly recommend using one of the premium offerings from Google Cloud, AWS or Microsoft Azure.

Setting up.

To setup a cloud bucket for Keyframe or Proxy use, you can follow the documentation for Adding Storage and setting the type to either Keyframe or Proxy. You will also want to set the storage as Default. Then it will become the default storage for new keyframes or proxies that are created.
