Rev.ai Account Management
Rev.ai is used to create transcriptions from speech in your video files. This page will describe how to set up your own accounts and edit the built in accounts.
Adding an Rev.ai Integration
If you are setting up the integration, you need to make sure that you get the correct details from your Rev.ai account, the details needed are:
- Access Token
To add the integration
- Click on ADMIN in the top navigation.
- Choose AI Accounts from the left navigation bar.
- Click on + NEW ACCOUNT on the top right to open the form to create an export location.
- Choose "Rev" for the AI Provider
- Add a human readable title for display.
- Enter in your Rev.ai access token
- Click to create the integration.
Setting up Custom Vocabularies
Rev.ai supports custom vocabularies through the use of phrases. You can input these phrases into the iconik for use when transcribing your video content. For more information see https://docs.rev.ai/api/custom-vocabulary/best-practices/
- Click on ADMIN in the top navigation.
- Choose AI Accounts from the left navigation bar.
- Click on the edit button on the top right of the title next to Rev.ai.
- Under the heading Custom Vocabulary enter in a phrase then click the plus icon.
- Enter more phrases as you wish, clicking the plus icon to save each one.
- Click to save the changes.
Setting up Summarization
Rev.ai supports summarizing the transcript in english. To enable this you need to define a metadata field to use.
- Click on ADMIN in the top navigation.
- Choose AI Accounts from the left navigation bar.
- Click on the edit button on the top right of the title next to Rev.ai.
- Under the heading Summary & Topic extraction add the field to use for Summaries (It has to be a text area).
- Click to save the changes.
Setting up Topic Extraction
Rev.ai supports extracting topics in english. To enable this you need to define a metadata view and field to use.
- Click on ADMIN in the top navigation.
- Choose AI Accounts from the left navigation bar.
- Click on the edit button on the top right of the title next to Rev.ai.
- Under the heading Summary & Topic extraction add the view and field for Topic Extraction. (The field has to be a tag type)
- Click to save the changes.
