From original or from preview
There are two methods for creating posters:
- From original: This will read the original file from storage, and go through a transcoder to take a high-quality snapshot of the frame. How fast this happens depends on how many other files are in the transcode queue, and the type of storage the file is on.
- From preview This will use the current proxy video to create a grab of the frame and upload it to iconik as a poster. This is very quick, but the poster will be of a lesser quality than from original, but more use cases for display purposes in iconik it will be more than good enough.
